Krampusnacht 2023

Damn, I missed Krampusnacht again! This happens every year!

December 5th! December 5th! I bloody well better remember this for next year.

Because I missed it this year, I'm not going to write a proper blog about Krampusnacht. I haven't thought properly about the celebration as being relevant to Satanists, although I do want it to be. So while I'm currently posting about Krampusnacht, I'm not "posting" about Krampusnacht; I'm only "posting" the promise of a future Krampusnacht blog post next year.

I saw that The Satanic Temple is recognizing Krampusnacht, not as an actual Satanic Holiday, but as a noteworthy event (and again, I do not represent the Satanic Temple, nor do I speak for them). So I think the topic itself deserves better consideration than I can do off the cuff. And I need to think about how Krampusnacht speaks to the Satanic communities, if at all.
